How Does it Work?
The process includes wearing a series of developed aligners that fit over your teeth almost like a mouth guard but in a more comfortable, and molded fashion. These aligners will gradually move the teeth into the position that Dr. Paige McClelland is aiming for, creating a more attractive smile.
Clear aligners have become the standard for most orthodontic situations and desired by most patients. It can usually treat most misaligned tooth issues.
To get invisible aligners or to find out if they are right for your orthodontic needs, you will first meet with our team and decide what dental services and options are right for you. Pictures and impressions will need to be taken of your mouth to determine the actual misalignments and issues you may suffer from.
The impressions will then be used to create a 3D image of your teeth. This image is used to predict the movement needed to design a treatment plan. Then, custom-made aligners are made for each stage in the treatment plan. Our team will then give them to you throughout the orthodontic process, which requires check-up appointments every 4 to 6 weeks. You may receive a few aligners at a time to switch out as your teeth continue to move.
